Campus interview @ hinterland?!

Wonder how Reliance BPO and Manjeshwara are connected? No way! However, there is a reason.Recently, the students of the Manjeshwara Govinda Pai Memorial Government College have experienced a new kind of excitement which they never had before or may be only dreamt of! A handful of students from this hinterland college have got placed in Reliance BPO through the `Campus selection Program' held here recently in the college premises. This is the first of its kind which the college is passing through!

Escube –an IT service company from thiruvananthapuram organized campus selection program for the Reliance BPO based in Chennai. Meenakshi, Bhageerathi T, Imthiyaz, Shivaprasad Puttige, Yogesha B.M., Kalavathi M., Fathimath Fayida and Venkataramana B, students of Manjeshwara College were selected as future employees of the company.

Students will reach Chennai on june 6th to join Reliance.Indeed for these rural students the `campus selection' was a thrilling experience. They were selected only after going through through the various tests in English communication skill, mental aptitude, group discussion and Kannada communication skills. In the final round only twelve students remained and out of them eight were finally absorbed to the company.

Chennai Reliance BPO HR Manager Mr. Kamesh D, Escube IT Service Company Manager (operations) Mr.Anoop R, Kannada Lecturer of the College Balakrishna Hosangadi organized the programme.Congratulating the students, Dr. C. Baburaj, in charge principal of the college, said that the college will open up to many such opportunities in the future course of time.
